MCQ Music Lessons (ABN 62 103 386 186, "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through mcqmusiclessons.com.au, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you book a lesson, enroll, register interest in a group class, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to add about your lesson preferences (instrument, songs, genre, goals). If you're booking for a child, this is the parent or guardian's information, not the student's own. Payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider, we never see or store your full card details ourselves.

How we use it

We use your information to manage your bookings and enrollment, send confirmation, reminder, reschedule, and cancellation emails, keep our lesson calendar accurate, and respond to any questions you send us. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone beyond the service providers below.

Service providers we use

A few trusted third parties help us run this site, each with their own privacy practices:

• Stripe, processes all payments securely, we never handle your raw card details.
• Resend, sends booking and enrollment emails on our behalf.
• Netlify, hosts this website and its booking forms.
• Google Calendar, used internally to keep our own lesson schedule.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram), we use the Meta Pixel to understand how people find this site and to measure the performance of our own advertising. This may involve cookies or similar technology in your browser; you can control this through your browser or Meta's own ad preference settings.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and enrollment records for as long as needed to run lessons, handle any billing or scheduling questions, and meet our own record-keeping obligations, then delete them when they're no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Just email jamesmcqmusic@gmail.com and we'll sort it out directly.
